Alcatel-Lucent will pay agape enterprise pte ltd a monthly amount based on the number of VoIP phones provided and the type of application supplied to the various government agencies. According to the tender document, the total number of users is the about 60,000, but IDA has committed the implementation of 6,000 VoIP phone users over the initial 2 years of the contract.
The cost of equipment and software development for the committed 6,000 users is estimated at USD 1.4 million or about S$2 million over a period of 2 to 3 years. The estimated income over a 5-year steady state period is S$4 million.
